How do i password protect a directory / folder using lxadmin / kloxo?

Next you must clickDirectory password protection

To password protect a directory you must first log in to your lxadmin /kloxo control panel, select the domain you wish to work on (if reseller rights apply)  click on the "Protected Directories" icon.

  • Enter a name for the "Auth" entry, and enter the virtual directory path that you want to protect. You can click on the "browse" icon and select the path.

("Auth" is the name of the rule you are about to create)

  • Add the new entry and click on the "Auth" entry name from the list

  • Next you must click "Add Dirprotect user" tab on the top

  • Enter the new username, password and click "Add"

  • You can now use that user account to access the password protected directory. You can add more user accounts if needed in the same way.
